GSPDM Dean Gloria Jumamil-Mercado receives a plaque of appreciation from Maj. Gen. Alexander Balutan, Vice Commander of the Philippine Navy, and Rear Admiral Bayani Gaerlan, Chief of the Philippine Navy’s Naval Staff, for helping organize the Maritime Security Symposium.  Mercado stood for President Tony Kalaw in welcoming the participants and provided the synthesis for the activity.
