A series of online Introductory Courses on Strengthening Risk Management (RM) Capability of government agencies are being offered free by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), through its Government Quality Management Program (GQMP), from May to July 2022. Registration to the courses is open until May 20, 2022.
These courses intend to help level-up risk-based thinking among ISO 9001-certified organizations, to strengthen adoption of RM tools and techniques aligned with ISO 31000:2018 standards, and to incorporate RM in the Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP) guidelines. Further, the courses will provide public sector organizations with reasonable assurance that organizational objectives will still be achieved despite disruptions in a volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous world. The exercises during the course will enable participants to review their risk and opportunity document and PSCP.
The courses are open to LGUs and organizations/agencies in the public education sector, health care sector, frontline services, and regulatory agencies interested in enhancing their capabilities in developing, implementing, monitoring, and improving RM. Agencies may endorse up to three participants.
