Tagaytay City, 23 February 2024 – The Development Academy of the Philippines is holding the eighth closing ceremony of the Public Management Development Program’s Local Government Executives and Managers Class (LGEMC) today at the DAP Conference Center in picturesque Tagaytay City.

DAP President and CEO Majah-Leah V. Ravago, in her welcome remarks, honored the 57 local government executives and managers who have completed the three-month rigorous and intensive learning journey. She encouraged them to keep on demonstrating resilience and doing their work with steadfast integrity and honor.

Distinguished guests in attendance include National Economic and Development Authority Secretary, and NGCESDP-PMDP Steering Committee and DAP Board of Trustees Chairperson Arsenio M. Balisacan, Batangas Governor Hermilando I. Mandanas, and Galing Pook Foundation Chairperson Mel Senen S. Sarmiento.

Also present in the event were DAP Senior Vice President Magdalena L. Mendoza and Vice President Imelda C. Caluen.

The LGEMC stands as a beacon of excellence, dedicated to empowering local government functionaries to excel in their roles amidst a dynamic and ever-evolving landscape. Through rigorous training and collaborative learning, the program equips participants with the skills and insights needed to navigate complexities and drive innovation in public service delivery at the grassroots level.
