PMDP-AC President, Judge Roselyn A. Borja  (SEC Batch 1-Molave), steers the club through a pivotal discussion on enhancing membership benefits and formalizing its structure.

The PMDP, a program of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), is dedicated to building a corps of ethical and highly competent public managers in the country. Since its inception, it has been a cornerstone in promoting effective public management, equipping government leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive meaningful change.

The primary focus of the discussion was on formalizing the club’s structure to ensure sustained membership activity and engagement. Judge Borja underscored the significance of updating class directories and implementing a batch-based system for the collection of annual dues, which is anticipated to streamline processes and foster greater participation across all alumni batches.

A notable highlight of the meeting was the introduction of a class-based nomination process in preparation for the upcoming PMDP Alumni Recognition Program, set for August 2025. This initiative aims to boost participation while preserving the prestige of the awards, which honor exceptional contributions within the alumni community. The theme for the 2025 recognition program, Digitalization and Cybersecurity, will emphasize the evolving landscape of public management and the PMDP-AC’s commitment to staying at the forefront of these developments. Moreover, the club plans to integrate capacity-building activities into the event, further cementing the PMDP-AC’s role as a leader in the advancement of public management in the Philippines.
