Message From The President

Welcome to the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP).

For over five decades, the DAP has stood as a catalyst for innovation, productivity, and good governance—a vital partner in the country’s pursuit of sustainable and inclusive growth. Guided by our vision to be the leading knowledge organization providing innovative, effective, and responsive solutions to national development challenges, we continue to strengthen our role as an institution of ideas, learning, and transformation.

Through our work in policy research, leadership development, institutional
strengthening, and productivity enhancement, the DAP fosters collaboration across the public and private sectors, civil society, and international partners. Together with our mother agency, the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DepDev), we uphold our commitment to support the Philippine government in realizing AmBisyon Natin 2040—a matatag, maginhawa, at panatag na buhay para sa lahat.

As we launch this new website, we envision it as a window into DAP’s evolving story—a space that connects knowledge with action and people with purpose. It is our gateway to new collaborations where ideas take root and solutions are built for a better, more resilient Philippines.

With dangal, galing, and tatag, we remain committed to serving as a trusted partner in development—empowering leaders, institutions, and communities to achieve their highest potential.
