
DAP welcomes Bangsamoro Local Government Academy, key partners for strategic learning exchange
PASIG CITY, Philippines – 12 February 2026 – The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) welcomed the Bangsamoro Local Government Academy (BLGA) and its key institutional partners for a strategic learning visit aimed at advancing public sector leadership and governance systems in the Bangsamoro region. Held at DAP Pasig from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, the engagement featured a substantive and solutions-oriented open forum between BLGA leadership and DAP officers, enabling a focused exchange on governance systems and institutional strengthening. Joining the delegation were representatives from the Development Academy of the Bangsamoro, Mindanao State University, and provincial directors from the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government–BARMM, reflecting a coordinated, multi-institutional approach to advancing capacity development in the region. The visit forms part of the BRIDGE Project (Building Resilient Institutions and Governance in the Bangsamoro), an initiative designed to strengthen institutional resilience and governance capacity across BARMM. Discussions centered on: Through candid dialogue and technical exchange, DAP shared its experience in building sustainable systems for leadership development, program delivery, and institutional reform. DAP underscored its whole-of-institution approach, demonstrating how aligned leadership, integrated governance systems, and rigorously designed, evidence-based programs collectively drive sustainable and results-oriented public sector development. This engagement underscores DAP’s continuing commitment to collaborative partnerships that strengthen regional institutions, elevate local governance, and advance sustainable capacity-building across the Philippines.
