It’s on for the public offering courses for local government units!
The Development Academy of the Philippines-Local Governance and Development Office announced that enrolment for 2016 for the said courses in various fields of local governance is now open. This gives local government unit officials, legislators, and technical and administrative staff personnel who want to develop their capacities in local governance and development the opportunity to take these courses.
The courses include the following:
- Course on Effective Local Legislation for Newly Elected Officials – August 22-24, 2016 at DAP-Pasig;
- Seminar-Workshop on Updating Local Revenue Code for Provincial and Municipal Local Government Units – August 23-26, 2016 at DAP-Pasig;
Leadership excellence
- Leadership Excellence and Development Course (LEAD) for Newly Elected Local Chief Executives – September 28-30, 2016 at DAP-Pasig;
- Seminar-Orientation on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) for LGUs – October 19-21, 2016 at DAP-Pasig;
- Basic Course on Migration and Local Development – November 9-11, 2016;
- Seminar-Workshop on Sustainable Tourism Planning for LGUs – November 14-18, 2016 at DAP-Pasig; and
- Basic Course on Child Rights Responsive Governance – November 22-24, 2016 at DAP-Pasig.
