Pasig City, March 7, 2022 – foodpanda Philippines, in collaboration with the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), conducted five Data Science and Analytics (DSA) Info Roadshows for its employees from February 22-24, 2022, via Zoom.
The scheduled roadshows aimed to strengthen the DSA capabilities of foodpanda employees by introducing the project Smarter Philippines through Data Analytics, R&D, Training, and Adoption (SPARTA), its learning courses and pathways, and application process.
Project SPARTA is a three-year project implemented by the DAP, the Department of Science and Technology, Analytics Association of the Philippines, and Coursebank to establish the necessary online education, research and development mechanisms, and infrastructure to enable the DSA industry and foster smart governance practices in the country.
The three-day discussions were led by resource speakers from the DAP including Project SPARTA Deputy Manager for Marketing, Partnerships, and Events Nikko Visperas, Partnerships Associate Daniel Rosero, and Information Officer Arvie Joyce Cayabyab.
An open forum allowed the participants to engage with the Project SPARTA team and ask questions about the project.
The Info Roadshows are part of Project SPARTA’s and foodpanda Philippines’ initiatives to foster the country’s DSA ecosystem by introducing a data-driven culture in their organization.
