Tagaytay City, Cavite— The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), through its Human Resource Development Division (HRDD), in partnership with the Food and Safety Hygiene Academy of the Philippines (FoodSHAP®), successfully conducted a Food Safety Training Workshop on October 12, 2024, at the DAP Conference Center (DAPCC). The training aimed to elevate food safety standards and ensure the highest quality service in the center.

The one-day workshop was attended by the Food and Beverage Services Unit personnel of the DAPCC, equipping them with essential knowledge to maintain compliance with food safety protocols. Under the guidance of Food Safety Compliance Officer Elmo Cleofe Jr., participants engaged in practical, hands-on activities designed to reinforce best practices in food handling, sanitation, and hygiene.

This initiative underscores DAPCC’s dedication to maintaining rigorous food safety standards, ensuring that its services meet the expectations of guests and stakeholders. The refresher course is part of DAPCC’s broader commitment to promoting public health safety and upholding excellence in all aspects of its operations.

The collaboration with FoodSHAP® reflects DAP’s proactive approach in aligning with the evolving needs of its facility clients, setting a benchmark for food safety that supports the health and well-being of the public.
