The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) welcomed the Academy of Journalism and Communication (AJC) of Vietnam on August 29, 2025, at the DAP main office in Pasig City, strengthening professional ties and academic cooperation between the two institutions. 

The AJC delegation, led by AJC Vice Rector Associate Professor Dr. Luu Van Quang, was formally welcomed by DAP Acting President and CEO Dr. Leocadio S. Sebastian, together with DAP Senior Vice President Magdalena L. Mendoza, APO Liaison Officer Armand Tristan Suratos, officers from its Productivity and Development Center, Graduate School of Public and Development Management, and Center for Career Executive Service Development. 

Facilitated through the Vietnam National Productivity Institute, the study visit paved the way for future collaborations, with both institutions agreeing to work together on: 1) knowledge exchange on Artificial Intelligence and disruptive technologies; 2)  resource persons exchanges; and 3) shuttle courses on Philippine and Vietnamese reforms. 

The DAP also supported the delegation in conducting their institutional visits to the UP  College of Media and Communication and the UP National College of Public Administration and Governance to advance their learning objectives. 

This initiative highlights the  DAP’s commitment to strengthening NPO-to-NPO partnerships under the Asian Productivity Organization framework and fostering meaningful knowledge exchanges across ASEAN.
