The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) welcomed the Senate of the Kingdom of Thailand delegation, on August 29, 2025, at the DAP Building in Pasig City for a courtesy call and study visit under the Study Visit Project to Enhance Academic and Research Capacity to International Level.
The 22-member delegation was led by His Excellency Boonsong Noisophon, Second Vice-President of the Senate, Chairman of the Senate Commission on Research and Development, and Chairman of the Senate Academic Commission.
In his welcome remarks, DAP Acting President and CEO Leocadio S. Sebastian, highlighted the Philippines and Thailand’s shared commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and excellence in public service. He affirmed DAP’s readiness to work with Thai counterparts to advance regional productivity, good governance, and sustainable development.
The knowledge exchange was joined by DAP Senior Vice President Magdalena L. Mendoza, Vice President Center for CES Development Nanette C. Caparros, APO Liaison Officer for the Philippines Armand Tristan Suratosa, nd heads of program offices. Discussions covered policy research, public sector capability building, innovation, monitoring and evaluation, and potential areas for collaboration.
This visit reaffirmed DAP’s role in fostering international partnerships that drive productivity, good governance, and socioeconomic progress.
