The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), through the Government Quality Management Program (GQMP), is all set to unveil the whole-of-government 2023 Business Satisfaction Survey (BizSat) for frontline government services on October 4, 2023.
The BizSat, which will run until October 20 at selected national government agencies and local government units in the National Capital Region, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, seeks to measure the satisfaction level and expectations of business owners and their representatives when transacting in frontline government facilities.
Director Monica Saliendres of the DAP- Productivity and Development Center, shares, “Key results of the BizSat survey will serve as the basis for developing a minimum set of Service Quality Standards (SQS) for frontline government services. Moreover, the survey results promise to be a treasure of trove of insights, shedding light on the attributes of service that government agencies can prioritize, thereby enhancing the experience of the transacting public.”
One of the highlights of the survey will focus on interviewing business owners and/or representatives who have embarked on transactions, both in person and in the digital realm, using computer-assisted personal interviews (CAPI). In an era where digital transactions are gaining momentum, BizSat aims to break ground by piloting a study methodology that includes those who have availed of services online, ensuring a holistic and forward-thinking approach to gauging service quality
