The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) will be extending its three-year partnership with the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan. The partnership between the two institutions is set to be renewed through a Memorandum of Understanding Ceremonial Signing on Wednesday, 29 June 2022.
Partners since 2019, the DAP and GRIPS have collaborated on several invaluable projects for legislators and public sector leaders. This includes workshops and programs on phronetic leadership, innovative governance, public policy development, and co-creation. The partnership also produced innovative programs in collaboration with the DAP’s Public Management Development Program and Center for Governance.
Given the successful programs and projects produced from the three-year partnership, the DAP is confident that it can look forward to implement more projects with the aim of building the capacity of the country’s public sector under the renewed pact.
The renewal of agreement will take effect on 11 July 2022 and will remain valid for a period of three years or until 10 July 2025, and may be continued thereafter after suitable review and agreement.
