The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) was honored by the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) of the Philippine Air Force (PAF) for its collaborative efforts in leadership development and institutional capacity building that have enriched the educational mission of AETC.

The recognition was conferred during AETC’s 73rd Anniversary Celebration held on October 8, 2025, at Fernando Air Base in Lipa City, Batangas.

The event was graced by Lieutenant General Arthur M. Cordura PAF, Commanding General of the Philippine Air Force, who served as Guest of Honor and Speaker, together with Major General Jesus Nelson B. Morales PAF, Commander of AETC. Both generals led the presentation of awards to partner institutions and individuals who have contributed significantly to the Command’s mandate of developing competent, disciplined, and values-driven airmen.

In receiving the recognition, the DAP was cited for its continued partnership with AETC in advancing leadership excellence, strengthening organizational performance, and enhancing the training capabilities of the Philippine Air Force through institutional development programs.

This year’s celebration carried the theme, “Sustaining Education and Training Excellence by Adhering to Mission, Enhancing Capabilities, and Building Personnel of Character,” underscoring AETC’s vital role as the “cradle of Air Force leadership” in shaping mission-ready personnel rooted in the core values of integrity, service, and excellence.

The DAP’s collaboration with the Air Education and Training Command reflects its continuing commitment to building the capacities of public sector institutions and advancing good governance and development through leadership, management, and performance excellence.
