Quezon City, February 20, 2024 – Today marks a pivotal moment in the history of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as Dr. Majah-Leah Ravago, its recently appointed 10th president and chief executive officer, was formally inducted into the Career Executive Service Board (CESB).
Dr. Ravago was sworn into office by Civil Service Commission and CESB Chairperson, Atty. Karlo Nograles, with the presence of other board members including Australia Awards and Alumni Engagement Project Director Milalin Javellana, Philippine Competition Commission Commissioner Lolibeth Medrano, Office of the President-Human Resource Management Office Director IV Andrea Maila Ordañez, Department of Agrarian Reform Undersecretary Luis Meinrado Pañgulayan, and CESB Secretariat Executive Director Maria Marcy Ballesteros.
Presidential Decree No. 1 s.1971 and its succeeding amendments names the DAP President as ex-officio member of the CESB. Dr. Ravago’s inclusion signifies a strategic alignment with the government’s vision for excellence in public service leadership. The ceremony, held at the CESB office in Quezon City, witnessed Dr. Ravago pledging her commitment to advancing the principles of personnel administration and fostering synergistic partnerships with key stakeholders.
