The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), in collaboration with the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (Fulbright Philippines), held an information session today, 18 November 2025, at the DAP Executive Lounge to present scholarship and exchange opportunities available to DAP personnel.

Fulbright Program Officers Mila Tan and Joanne Fajardo briefed DAP officers and staff on various grants, including the Fulbright U.S.-ASEAN Visiting Scholar Initiative, designed for professionals working on U.S.-ASEAN-related policy and development issues. They also highlighted opportunities for postgraduate studies and non-degree doctoral dissertation research under the Fulbright Foreign Student Program.

The session builds on the 2024 Memorandum of Understanding between DAP and Fulbright Philippines, along with separate MOAs signed by DAP’s Center for CES Development (CCD), Center for Governance, and the Graduate School of Public and Development Management to strengthen learning pathways for public-sector leaders. One of the early initiatives under this partnership was CCD’s Training on Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Executives facilitated by  Joshua Ness.

This collaboration forms part of DAP’s ongoing efforts to upskill and develop its workforce, encouraging officers and staff to pursue continuing education that will enhance their professional capabilities and improve service delivery to clients and stakeholders.
