The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) and Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) have officially partnered to elevate the university’s quality systems to international standards tailored for educational institutions.
Through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed in a virtual ceremony, DAP will provide technical assistance to MMSU for its transition from ISO 9001:2015 to ISO 21001:2018 Educational Organization Management System (EOMS)—a globally recognized framework that promotes learner-centered processes, enhanced educational delivery, and stronger stakeholder engagement.
Leading the ceremony were MMSU President Dr. Virgilio Julius P. Manzano Jr., joined by university executives, and DAP Officer-in-Charge Ms. Magdalena L. Mendoza, together with Mr. Arnel D. Abanto, Acting Vice President of the Productivity and Development Center (PDC), and the PDC-Advocacy and Institutional Development Office team (AIDO).
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement in Philippine higher education. With DAP’s technical guidance and expertise in productivity and quality systems, MMSU is poised to become one of the pioneering universities in the country to institutionalize ISO 21001.
