
The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), through the Human Resource Management Development Department (HRMDD), successfully held a Health, Wellness, and Well-being Fair from October 27 to 29, 2025. The three-day event underscored the importance of a comprehensive and integrative approach to health and well-being.
Designed to promote holistic health for DAP personnel, the event featured a series of lectures, wellness talks, and specialized sessions focusing on physical, psychological, financial, and spiritual dimensions of health.

To emphasize the interconnectedness of mental health, holistic well-being, and the mind-body connection, Day 1 featured a lecture on the “Integrative Approach to Wellness: Mind, Body, and Spirit,” delivered by Dr. Ma. Alicia De Leon, MD, MPH, CMA, CMHtx, followed a screening of the Netflix Series The Mind, explained. This session also included an orientation on PhilHealth’s Yakap Program, which detailed government-led initiatives supporting members’ physical health and financial security.
Financial wellness took center stage on the first two days of the fair through talks led by representatives from Sunlife, BPI, COL Financial, and Pru Life, who shared practical strategies for building financial resilience and security.

On Day 3, participants attended a session on “Mental Health in the Workplace,” facilitated by Symon M. Carpiso, RPsy, RPm, and took part in an online pranic healing clinic, which offered experiential learning on alternative approaches to stress management and energy balance.
Through the Health, Wellness, and Well-being Fair, the DAP reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing a healthy, motivated, and productive workforce.
