The DAP Subcommittee on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), headed by Cajes, coordinated with Barangay Pineda Chairperson Francisco De Leon and with the Tulong Aksyon Yakap Organization (TAYO), through its Founder/Chair Diana Francis De Leon-Villegas for the donation of school kits for their joint program on sustainability and environmental protection program. Dubbed as “Palit Plastic,” the endeavor aims to raise awareness in cleanliness and proper disposal of plastics by encouraging children to surrender plastic materials like wrappers, bottles, sando bags and the like in return for the school supplies and snacks. The collected plastic wastes are turned over by TAYO and the barangay to recycling facilities that will recycle it into bricks or chairs which the barangay donates to the schools and communities affected by recent community fires.
The turnover activity is the culmination of the DAP’s 49th year anniversary celebration. The CSR drive started in June 2022 with the “DAP-wide Linis Opisina and Donation Drive,” which encourages the DAP employees in the Pasig, Tagaytay and Mindanao offices to clean-up their workspaces and donate extra or unused supplies and materials to the program.

Moreover, some 29 staff from the Academy’s housekeeping, motorpool, and support services units Pasig received school kits for their children.
The CSR sub-committee’s activities served as kick-off for the continuing efforts of the DAP in partnering with the host LGUs in the cities of Pasig, Tagaytay, and Davao for sustainable programs of impact and value. The sub-committee proposed sustainable programs such as capacity and capability building, youth and gender and development advocacies, environment and sustainability, and building partnerships with the private and civil service organizations in the local communities. #Tatak DAPper ô#DAPatKawani ô#DAP@50
