The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) successfully conducted a five-day Project Management Training Program for the Design Center of the Philippines (DCP), an attached agency of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), from August 11 to 15, 2025, at the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) in Pasay City.

The program was designed to strengthen DCP’s institutional capacity in managing development projects with greater efficiency and effectiveness. It forms part of DAP’s continuing commitment to support government agencies in enhancing technical competencies and fostering a culture of excellence in public service delivery.

Covering the fundamentals of project development, implementation, and monitoring, the training guided participants through the key phases of the project lifecycle. They were equipped with practical tools and methodologies on strategic planning, risk management, performance tracking, and project evaluation.

Through a dynamic mix of lectures, interactive workshops, and case discussions, the training provided DCP personnel with hands-on experience and practical insights in project management. The program is expected to strengthen the agency’s capacity to deliver innovative and impactful initiatives that advance its mission of championing design as a strategic tool for national development.
