The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), through its Graduate School of Public and Development Management (DAP-GSPDM), will serve as one of the session organizers at the International Conference on Energy and Environmental Economics (ENERCON) 2025, hosted by the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB) College of Economics and Management.

Date: 26 September 2025
Time:  10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Venue: Vivere Hotel, Alabang, Muntinlupa City

The DAP-organized session, “Energy Transition, Institutional Pathways, and Structural Transformation,” will gather key stakeholders to exchange insights on environmental policy, sustainable energy adoption, and pathways for inclusive development.

Participation in ENERCON 2025 underscores DAP’s role in:
Thought leadership in energy transition, sustainability, and institutional reforms;
Showcasing research outputs and innovations by DAP faculty and staff;
Strengthening networks with local and international experts, institutions, and policy advocates;
Advancing capacity building in sustainable development, environmental stewardship, and governance; and
Promoting DAP’s academic offerings to a wider community of scholars, practitioners, and policymakers.

Through this engagement, DAP aims to empower conference participants—including academicians, researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers—with valuable perspectives on capacity building in human development, environmental protection, and sustainable growth.

By advancing sustainable approaches and technologies—such as ecotourism, renewable energy, waste-to-energy systems, and climate change adaptation—DAP continues to champion long-term environmental stewardship and economic resilience.
