The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) welcomed its newly appointed Vice President for the Corporate Concern Center (CCC), Mr. June Arvin C. Gudoy, in an oath-taking ceremony held earlier today at the DAP Main Office in Pasig City. VP Gudoy was appointed by the DAP Board of Trustees and officially assumed office on 06 January 2025.
 
With over a decade of experience in public service, VP Gudoy brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Department Head of the Communications Office of the Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte. Notably, he established its youth development office, which was recognized in 2015 by the Department of the Interior and Local Government as one of the ten outstanding local government initiatives.
 
Following his work in local government, VP Gudoy transitioned to the national government, where he held key positions in the Department of Education, the House of Representatives, and the National Anti-Poverty Commission.
 
VP Gudoy is an accomplished academic, holding a Bachelor’s degree in English Studies (major in Communication Arts) from Mariano Marcos State University. He furthered his education by earning a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Sydney in 2019 and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Oxford in 2024.
 
The ceremony was attended by DAP President and CEO, and Board of Trustees Vice President, Dr. Majah-Leah Ravago, alongside members of the DAP Board of Trustees, including: Civil Service Commission Chairperson,Atty. Marilyn Barua-Yap; Usec. Melbourne Ziro Pana (National Economic and Development Authority) Asec. Allen Kristopher Anarna (Department of Agriculture); Usec. Luis Meinrado Pañgulayan (Department of Agrarian Reform); Usec. Ronald Mendoza (Department of Education); Asec. Hiro Masuda (Department of Environment and Natural Resources); and, Asec. Niño Raymond B. Alvina (Department of Finance).
 
With his extensive experience and educational background, VP Gudoy is poised to contribute significantly to the Development Academy of the Philippines in its mission to foster excellence in governance and public service.
