On October 4, 2024, Dr. Majah-Leah V. Ravago, President and CEO of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) and Vice Chair of the Career Executive Service Board (CESB), participated as a judge for the prestigious 2024 Presidential Gawad CES Award. Joining her on the panel was CESB Board Member Dr. Urdujah Alvarado. This collaboration reflects DAP’s longstanding connection with the CESB established through Presidential Decree No. 1.
The Committee on Awards convened at the Richmonde Hotel in Ortigas, Metro Manila, to evaluate and shortlist nominees for this distinguished award, which honors outstanding career executives in the public sector. The judging panel comprised esteemed members, including former Department of Health (DOH) Undersecretary Dr. Eric Tayag, Probe Productions Inc. Founding President Ms. Cheche Lazaro, CESB Board Member Dr. Urdujah Alvarado, DAP PCEO Dr. Majah-Leah V. Ravago, Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) Commissioner Attorney Lolibeth Ramit-Medrano, and former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Austere Panadero. CESB Executive Director Maria Marcy Cosare-Ballesteros also contributed to the evaluation process.
