The Development Academy of the Philippines – Graduate School of Public and Development Management (DAP-GSPDM), led by Dr. Lizan E. Perante-Calina, dean of the Graduate School, alongside the Learning Management Team, has successfully disseminated pioneering research outputs from its Research Fellows. Their collective expertise has empowered scholars, practitioners, and policymakers throughout the region, offering groundbreaking solutions and shaping promising futures through the Regional Caravan. This effort aims to create a lasting impact in public administration, public policy, and development management.

DAP-Graduate School in collaboration with Palawan State University, held a cascading caravan on May 15, 2024, together with the faculty officer headed by Prof. Ramy Ann B. Maigue-Libara, students from the College of Business Accountancy-BS Public Administration and BS Entrepreneurship, emphasizing the crucial role of leadership in shaping a sustainable futures, where sustainability is ingrained as a fundamental way of life.

The SDG and Futures Regional Caravan activities, held at Palawan State University, neighboring cities, and the Office of the Provincial Government, held on May 15-17, 2024, were themed “SDG Caravan on Navigating the Path to Sustainable Development: Empowering LGUs through SDG Localization, Collaborative Governance, Green & Open Spaces, and Tourism.” This event has left an indelible mark, fostering a collective commitment to sustainable futures and empowering minds.

Following, the caravan continued at Pangasinan State University, neighboring cities, and the Office of the Provincial Government on June 10-11, 2024, themed “Envisioning Sustainable Futures in the Philippines: Integrating SDGs, Context-Specific Foresight, and Harmonized Devolution Strategies,” underscores DAP-GSPDM’s unwavering dedication to sustainable development. This initiative promotes collaboration to ensure a better future for all.
