16 April 2024 – DAP President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Majah-Leah Ravago, received officials from the Civil Service Commission who visited the Development Academy of the Philippines for an orientation on the proposed project on Philippine Civil Service Modernization (PCSM) earlier today.
CSC officers and staff presented the proposal and outlined the DAP’s participation in the project’s steering committee and technical working group.
In attendance were Assistant Commissioner for Support and Administrative Services Karin Litz Zerna, Acting Assistant Commissioner for Professionalism and Cooperation Judith Dongallo-Chicano, Acting Assistant Commissioner for Human Resource Governance Nerissa Canguilan, Integrated Records Management Office Directors Noreen Gocon-Gragasin and Jilven Amar, and Administrative Officers Jobelle Aquino-Catican and Ann Marie Rafael of the CSC. The meeting was also participated by World Bank Consultants Maria Catherine Joson-Mendoza, Marte Pocholo Lacson, and Gilda de Leon-Salud.
The PCSM aims to elevate the efficiency and quality of human resource management (HRM) and payroll processing across government agencies by establishing a comprehensive, whole-of-government Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS).
