Pasig City- Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) President and CEO Dr. Majah-Leah V. Ravago received a courtesy call from National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Vice Chairperson and Executive Officer Atty. Alberto A. Bernardo, on March 14 at the DAP Pasig building.
The meeting, which was also attended by DAP Senior Vice President for Programs Magdalena Mendoza, reaffirmed the ongoing cooperation between the two institutions, especially in the DAP’s support of the NAPOLCOM’s capability building and strengthening of organizational capacity.
The DAP has always played a pivotal role in supporting the NAPOLCOM’s endeavors such as the formulation of its Strategic Planning in 2022, 5-Year Strategic Plan on Crime Prevention, and National Crime Prevention Program. NAPOLCOM is also a beneficiary agency of the Public Management Development Program (PMDP).
The DAP’s history with VCEO Bernardo extends back to his tenure as Deputy Executive Secretary for Internal Audit in the Office of the President, member of the Government Quality Management Council (GQMC), and lead authority on Internal Audit in government.
This collective experience underscores the depth of collaboration and mutual support between the DAP and the NAPOLCOM, fostering a legacy of effective partnership and impactful initiatives.
