Project Smarter Philippines through Data Analytics, Research and Development, Training, and Adoption (SPARTA) introduced an updated version of its course and pathway certificates during the launching of its microspecialization pathways.

The updated certificates now bear the signature of Atty. Engelbert Caronan, Jr., president and CEO, of the project’s implementing agency–Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP). The new certificates feature a verification ID number, training hours equivalent, and/or project code.

The certificates carry the branding of the project’s funding agency–the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and DOST-Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD)–and the cooperating agencies–Analytics Association of the Philippines (AAP) and Coursebank–to indicate that the skills provided to learners have been vetted and benchmarked by these institutions.

According to SPARTA project team, the previous certificates generated via the Coursebank platform are still valid even without the signature of the implementing agency head.

To generate the certificates, scholars should register and create an account on the SPARTA portal (https://sparta.dap.edu.ph/), and follow the steps in this video or in this link.
