The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), through its Productivity and Development Center (PDC), is proud to have assisted the Agricultural Credit Policy Council (ACPC) in getting its ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification.
On 22 November 2018, the ACPC, in its commitment to achieve its mission of developing and advocating agri-related policies and orchestrating programs that promote farmers and fishers access to sustained financial services, commenced its 8-month journey, with the assistance on the establishment of a QMS certifiable to ISO 9001:2015 QMS.
In the course of the project, the ACPC Management and staff completed a series of capability building activities, which included training courses on ISO 9001 requirements and documentation, auditing QMS and root cause analysis, as well as, technical guidance sessions on documenting, implementing, auditing, and conducting root cause analysis and management review.
ACPC Executive Director Jocelyn Alma R. Badiola and Deputy Executive Director Ramon C. Yedra received the certification from TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc., with their key officers on 04 November 2019. The 3-year ISO 9001:2015 certification covers the quality management systems (QMS) scope of the Council namely, Provision of Agricultural/Rural Finance Policy Research and Formulation; Planning; Development of Innovative Financing Schemes; Institutional Capacity Building; Accreditation and Certification; Monitoring; Fund Management; Communications and Public Affairs; Information Systems Management; and Finance and Administrative Services .
“This certification is a testament of ACPC’s dedication to providing timely, responsive, sustainable and effective credit policies and programs to small farmers and fishers through a globally recognized process-based management system approach,” DAP Project Manager Ms. Christian S. Eparwa, said following the awarding of the certificate to the client.
