DAP seeks stakeholder input on regulatory reforms affecting businesses and key industries

How effectively do existing regulations work on the ground? What challenges do stakeholders encounter, and what improvements can be made?

The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), through its Modernizing Government Regulations Program (MGRP), invites stakeholders from the public and private sectors to share their experiences, challenges, and recommendations at the 2026 Regulatory Review Public Consultation on 27 October 2026, from 1:30 to 5:00 PM, via Zoom.

The consultation will cover five priority sectors and industries:

  • Business (Closure)
  • Energy
  • Health
  • Transportation
  • Plywood Manufacturing

The Public Consultation forms part of MGRP’s continuing efforts to promote responsive, efficient, and evidence-based regulation through regulatory Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs).

Building on the second round of stakeholder consultations, the session will gather additional inputs to validate findings, identify improvements, and strengthen the recommendations of the MGRP Study Teams.

Through this consultation, stakeholders can share their experiences with how regulations are implemented in practice, discuss implementation practices, and help identify opportunities to improve regulatory effectiveness.

Register for the Consultation through https://tinyurl.com/MGRPPubConReg2026. The meeting link will be sent to registered participants.
